Program Objectives

To provide assistance to victims in the immediate aftermath of a violent crime

To lessen the impact of violent crime through immediate support of victims

To increase the immediate safety of victims of violent crime

The following individuals may also apply on behalf of a victim:

• An immediate family member
• The custodial guardian of a victim under 16 or an individual with legal authority to act on behalf of a victim who has special needs
